Personal data collected via KiloBled are processed by the publisher of the app.

• basic identity: first name, last name (or nickname);
• contact details: phone number(optional), e-mail address;
• profile information: profile photo, language, country;
• trip and request information: routes, cities, dates, weights;
• chat history between users;
• technical data: device type, OS, logs in case of errors.

3. Purposes of processing

We use your data to:

• create and manage your user account;
• connect Senders and Travelers;
• allow trip publication and booking requests;
• enable in-app messaging and notifications;
• improve the app (statistics, bug fixing);
• ensure security and prevent abuse.

4. Legal basis (GDPR)

• Contract performance: operating the KiloBled service.
• Legitimate interest: platform security, fraud prevention, improvement.
• Legal obligations: compliance with any legal request from authorities.

5. Recipients

Data may be accessed by:

• KiloBled team members (support, technical);
• technical providers (hosting, analytics, push notification);
• competent authorities where legally required.

6. Hosting & storage

Data are hosted on cloud infrastructure (for example Firebase / Google Cloud), which may be located in the EU and/or outside the EU with appropriate safeguards.

7. Retention

• User account: as long as the account is active, then deletion or anonymization.
• Trips and requests: for the time necessary to manage interactions.
• Technical logs: a limited period for security and diagnostics.

8. Your rights

In particular, you have the right to:

• access, rectify or delete your personal data;
• restrict processing;
• object to certain processing, notably direct marketing;
• data portability where applicable.
